Welcome to Wayfinder Counseling & Coaching,

Where we can plot your course, find your path, and discover your destination together. The journey of life can seem difficult at times, but having a Wayfinder to walk beside you on the path before you is essential for navigating the pitfalls ahead

Mission Statement

The mission at Wayfinder is to help you address the areas in your life that need healing by providing you with a safe, confidential, and comfortable space for you and a trained therapist to guide you along your way and to help you discover the part of you that has been broken.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach to counseling is not a "one size fits all" method. I understand that every person is unique, every desired outcome is distinct, and every journey is different. Therefore, my approach to counseling is to find a personalized method to help support your individual goals.

Being able to address your issues in a safe space is imperative to an effective and collaborative approach when finding your way. After finding out what works best for you, we will create a plan for how to proceed, milestones to achieve, and how to feel empowered to face the hardships of life moving forward. Sometimes it seems too difficult to address anxiety, depression, trauma, dysfunction, or grief on your own. That's why having a skilled therapist trained in evidence-based techniques to help you have lasting and meaningful change is essential to the therapeutic process.

Enneagram coaching by a skilled therapist in Colorado Springs.

What's the Enneagram?

"The Enneagram is a personality typing system that categorizes individuals into nine interconnected personality types. Each type is defined by core motivations, desires, and fears that shape their worldview and behavior. The system is used for self-understanding, personal growth, and improving relationships and communication."

Alex - 28 -

U.S. Army

“I can't thank Josiah enough for the impact he's had on my life. As a soldier dealing with the challenges of Army life and the weight of past trauma, I often felt like I was fighting battles alone. Through counseling, I found not only guidance but also a safe space filled with compassion, understanding, and encouragement.
Josiah reminded me that my struggles don't define me. His patience, wisdom, and support gave me hope when I needed it most. I am walking forward with more peace & confidence. I would highly recommend Josiah to anyone that has served our country. He will understand you and help you."

Josh - 46 -

"Josiah demonstrates exceptional skill whether he is working with individuals or couples. Over the past few months of sessions, his guidance has created meaningful change in my life. The positive shift in my mindset has a ripple effect, improving multiple areas of my daily experience. His approach is both professional and genuinely impactful."

Abby - 25

"Josiah is a great counselor, and I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family. He is intentional, authentic, truly listens, and gives valuable advice... I appreciate his use of spiritual application and practical guidance, as well as his understanding of the Enneagram to help me better understand myself.
He doesn't fix your problems for you but gives you the tools to help you fix it yourself."

Chris - 44 -

"Josiah has been a rockstar with my boys (16 and 11) as we navigated a really difficult family situation. Highest recommendation."
